The Denon AVR-2309CI will fill your room with detailed, enveloping surround sound. This future-ready receiver teams seven channels of high-current amplification with sophisticated digital processing to deliver a riveting home theater experience.

7-Channel Equal Power Amplifier
The Denon AVR-2309CI features a 7-channel equal power, discrete amplifier. Each channel is rated at 100 watts RMS. The amp can power a 7.1-channel surround system in the main room; or it can power a 5.1-channel system and the surround back channels can be reassigned to power Zone 2 speakers at the same time.

Digital Signal Processing (DSP)
The Denon AVR-2309CI is equipped with a high-resolution 32-bit floating point Digital Signal Processor (DSP). All elements of the Surround Processor are optimized to the highest standards by the use of selected high performance and discrete components, particularly the A/D and D/A converters and the sophisticated DSP surround decoder.

Precision Drive Mechanism
The DVD-2500BTCI features a unique drive mechanism to further protect the internal disc space from magnetic influences, dust and external noise by adding a shield to the bottom and top of the unit to create an ideal playback environment inside the unit. In addition, the Blu-ray player features a Suppress Vibration Hybrid (S.V.H.) loader constructed with a combination of different material to ensure stable disc rotation and great accuracy in reading the disc.
